This is a sample implementation of our image clarification technology on Sodia board


Overview


This is a demonstration of Sodia board, which we implemented our image clarification IP into. On the following demo video, we connect PC as a source to the board via the DVI-D input and the DVI-D outputs are connected to two monitors. One monitor is displaying the original image of the sample scene and another one is displaying the clarified image completely simultaneously. This sample image video consists of three different type of ambiguous scenes, specifically, "Darkness", "Backlight" and "Fog". As you see, characteristic value of the image is very different, but the settings of image processing are perfectly fixed.

Our image clarification technology, which is implemented on Sodia board here, can make any unclear image visible. Features of this technology are as follows:

    • It is unnecessary to adjust paramters or settings according to the characteristic of the scene.
  • Real time processing
    • No frame memory is needed, so frame latency is zero. And pipeline latency is also very low.
  • Versatility
    • This image clarification technology is designed for all kind of unclear scene, for example, fog, backlight, halation or darkness.
